summer rocks!

This is my favorite time of year for several reasons....


1) yummy crawfish!

2) it's ok to walk around in limited clothing (well, if you're under the age of 2 at least)
3) I LOVE watersports!!

3b) although I hated this as a child.....
4) nothing beats a summer rain storm!

If only it didn't get SO DANG HOT in Texas!

Memorial Weekend

Sorry for the lack in posting!  

A nice, long weekend off from any type of work was the cause of that.  But now it's back to reality and cranking out some great photos!  Stay tuned...

I just HAD to share a couple of these from a recent wedding.  It was such a fun day, and we've got TONS more to come in a few weeks (so backed up right now!). But I couldn't wait any longer to share just a few....

harris family

This fun family was an entertaining shoot for me! First of all, they weren't scared of the peacocks at the park (the ones that terrify me....funny, I know). So they were chasing them around and getting close enough to touch their feathers....it was nuts. I know I shouldn't be afraid of peacocks (of all animals) but I totally am!

Anyway, we had a great time exploring the park and later hanging out at their house. As with most kids, some of the best shots (most natural) were taken in their own backyard. And what a cool backyard they had! Here are some of my favorite shots....
