coolest. dress. ever.

This is Emily. She has the coolest dress I've ever seen (and the pictures I've posted really don't even do it justice). I just wish I could show pictures from her actual wedding day. The reception had the coolest ambiance!

Taking pictures after the fact (which I LOVE to do since brides aren't worrying about their dresses....as much) was a blast. And I think I'm going to hire her mom to come to all my bridal shoots just for the laughs. She was cracking me up. Well, they both were really.

I love that about my job. I love the people. I love the laughing. And I love being able to get home and download all the hundreds of pictures, and then go through the past couple hours all over again. I love that part!

Just kidding. But she is gorgeous. And she's so much fun to hang out with! I loved getting to spend time with an old friend, and I LOVED how much she made me laugh. I laughed more that day than with anyone else I've ever photographed. She just cracks me up. And when two people are both on the verge of laughing and know that the other person is thinking the same thing.....it makes it very hard not to bust out laughing every second.

Another fun bride to work with...what a blessing! We all know how brides can be before their weddings when they are completely stressed out. That's why I love doing bridal portraits afterward...much more fun. And not having to worry about the dress getting dirty sure made it easier.

Melissa was quite a funny girl. She had me cracking up several times throughout the shoot. I'm just glad the scary peacocks at this place never actually "got" us....even though they tried.
