extended vacation

Having a few shoots rescheduled due to weather has been one of the best things that could have happened. I was almost disappointed to put them off, but have REALLY enjoyed the down time. I have actually had a couple nights where I literally did nothing. I completely vegged out and didn't touch my laptop. It was beautiful. As much as I love what I get to do every day, it's always nice to take breaks. And go on random last minute trips like this...

I had a great time with these two the other day. One of the reasons I love doing engagement pictures because it's so much fun watch the couple interact (especially when they don't realize I'm watching them).

I love that they were so willing to do whatever and made the shoot entertaining (lots of funny pictures I haven't included on here, but were pretty hilarious).

costa rica

Just a "few" pictures from an unbelievably cool trip we took over Christmas. It was a really nice break from reality, and so fun to get to capture the beauty of Costa Rica. I also got to test out my new (and now favorite) lens.

studio shoot

I had a lot of fun with this shoot the other day. I was asked to recreate a picture from years ago, with the kids now "all grown up". It was definitely a learning experience for me with such a different environment, but I think pretty successful.

...and definitely entertaining! He's one of my favorites...

After weeks of agonizing technical difficulties (well maybe not agonizing, but frustrating)....I've decided to put the new blog on hold. This temporary look will have to do for now until I can find the time to deal with the problems I've been having.
